A GEORGE III BRASS-BOUND MAHOGANY CELLARET-ON-STAND
The cellaret circa 1780, the stand basically late 18th century and later reconstructed in the 19th century
The octagonal hinged top over a brass-bound conforming case enclosing a green felt-lined interior fitted with radiating slots, brass handles to each side, on a later stand with pierced C-scroll angles and tapering square legs, later felt lined to the interior
26½in. (67.5cm.) high, 17in. (43cm.) diameter
