Circa 1872-1880, impressed uppercase mark, model no. 1936, HH monogram for Henry Hollins
Of classical form with upright loop and lug handles, the trumpet-shaped neck painted in coloured slip with a chain link band flanked by anthemion and stiff leaf-tips, the center strap painted in the same palette with scrolling foliage, set with panels decorated in white slip with a band of frolicking putti reserved on black and with a single putto wielding a sling-shot, on a short flaring foot enriched with gilt
