Ming dynasty
Raised on three mask and paw supports, the deep body decorated on two sides with ornamental rocks flanked by peony branches, each vignette positioned below three detached clouds on the waisted neck and two segments of classic scroll on the upright mouth rim, all carved and outlined in slip under turquoise, pale aubergine and cream glaze reserved on a deep blue ground, the interior of the neck covered with a thin green glaze
