Each plate with a turquoise border centred by the coat-of-arms of Prince Ferdinand de Bourbon-Sicile, Duke of Calabria, and of his wife, Princess Marie of Bavaria; the underside with red mark inscribed NYMPHENBOURG

- 34 dinner plates;
- 25 dessert plates;
- 2 fish dishes;
- 6 graduated oval dishes;
- 2 large circular dishes;
- 2 circular dishes;
- 2 sauce boats;
- 2 square dishes;
- 3 lidded dishes on stands with handles;
- 1 lidded dish;
- 1 dish;
- 2 tazzas;
- 11 cups and saucers
Provenance
Commissioned for the wedding of Ferdinand de Bourbon-Sicile, Duc of Calabria, and Marie de Bavière, third daughter of King Ludwig III of Bavaria, in May 1897;
Then by descent to the present owner.
