The stylized foliate decoration found on the frieze of this small painted table is similar to an Umbrian table illustrated in G. Cantelli, Il Mobile Umbro, Milan, 1973, pp. 159. The legs also relate to another table of the same region, illustrated in Cantelli op. cit, p. 166.
