The case flanked by the figure of a youthful Mercury raised on a Zephyr mask and with caduceus, bow and quiver, on base with canted angles, the front cast with mythical figures, raised on large toupie feet, the white enamel Roman dial (chips) signed Giteau Palais Royal No 129 à Paris, steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell -- 15¼in.
