Signed Cartier, Made in France, No. 2516, movement signed European Watch and Clock Co. Inc., circa 1930
With nickel-finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, the white dial with blue Roman numerals, gilt stylized hands, within the engraved silver letter opener handle, enhanced with lapis lazuli decoration, the back secured by four screws in the band, joined to the agate letter opener blade, inside and outside of case hand-stamped with Cartier reference numbers, dial signed Cartier, movement signed European Watch and Clock Co. Inc.
