marked Fabergé and with the workmaster's mark of Michael Perchin, St. Petersburg, circa 1890, with scratched inventory number 45487
Of rectangular form, the two-color gold egg and dart rim with a husk at each corner enclosing a plaque in translucent salmon pink enamel over a guilloché sunray design emanating from a beaded aperture enclosing a photograph of Empress Maria Feodorovna and her sister, Queen Alexandra of England, below a gold chased spray of laurel and surmounted by a musical trophy and a ribbon-tied bow with four-color gold flower swags and a perched dove hanging on each side, the base with two putti holding palms with amatory trophies at their feet within a geometric and scroll rim, with stylized greek pattern, gold strut, marked on the rim
