A GEORGE III MAHOGANY SECRETAIRE-BOOKCASE

The cresting with central tablet applied with a drapery swag flanked by swept angles and with urn finials above panelled paterae plinths over a dentilled cornice, the two Gothic mullioned glazed doors enclosing a cream silk-lined interior with three shelves, over a stepped lower section, the secretaire drawer enclosing an interior with central range of pigeonholes flanked to each side by a long over two short drawers behind a green leather-inset writing surface, over three further long graduated drawers and a shaped apron with outsplayed feet, paterae to cresting later
