The oval top inlaid with a variety of specimen marbles against a Carrara ground, with guilloche border enclosing reserves of geometric shapes, with lozenge and guilloche-inset ormolu frieze, the trestle base carved with pierced griffin supports, joined by an H-shaped stretcher centred by a foliate-carved Ionic columnar support
