Contemporary Austrian red morocco, sides finely gold-tooled to a rococco design with tools of floral swags, imperial arms blocked at center, spine gilt in seven compartments, black morocco lettering-piece in the second, gilt and gauffered edges (some worming to spine ends). Provenance: Princes of Liechtenstein (bookplate); [Christie's, London, 15 July, 1981, lot 327 (to Quaritch)].
