Manuscript on cream paper, 250ff. with 20ll. of black naskh, gold dots between verses, sura headings in gold on blue panels, blue and gold marginal medallions marking juz and sajda, opening gold and polychrome finely illuminated bifolio, final folio with colophon dated Muharram 1284, final bifolio with double illuminated shamsa, good condition, slight fading of blue in places, original black lacquer binding with gold floral interlace and gold lacquer doublures
