Of oval form and enclosed within a gilt-metal frame, one side fitted with a glass mirror enclosed by a border inset with a band of imitation gemstones, the reverse embellished with a European-enamelled convex oval plaque depicting a seated European matron and a young boy in a landscape setting, within a band of enamelled floral-scrolls divided by florets of imitation gemstones at the four cardinal points, all attached with an elaborate handle cast with acanthus leaves and decorated with transparent enamels
