Brevet Captain Edwin Thomas Wiseman Price was commissioned as an Ensign in January 1850 and joined the 30th Madras N.I. in January 1851, a unit that was among the reinforcements sent to Burma in September 1852. Price died at Bangalore on 13.4.1865.
