A French ormolu-mounted mahogany library cabinet
In the Empire Revival Style, Late 19th Century
Of rectangular shape, the upper part with a verde marble top above seven small doors, with a central pigeon-hole below, flanked to each side by a pair of leather-fronted dossier holders and a further pigeon-hole, the lower part with a central long frieze drawer and a small drawer flanking each side, above, a pair of central panel doors, with an adjustable shelf to the interior, and flanked to each side by a slender panel door, on plinth base, the reverse stencilled twice 3085
