Rectangular box with rounded corners, the cover inset with a finely painted enamel plaque depicting a young boy and a young girl holding a garland of flowers, seated on a garden bench, within a blue enamelled mount, raised three-colour gold mount cast with a waterleaf and tongue band on a matted ground, the four sides and base engine-turned with a peaked pattern surrounded by flutes, the frosted borders stamped with acorn, leaves and crossed ribbons
