the box by Moulinié, Bautte & Moynier, marked, Geneva, marked with town mark, circa 1830, the plaque by Kirstein of Strasburg, signed, ca 1830
Rectangular box with bulging sides, the cover inset with a glazed gold plaque finely cast, chased and engraved with a hunting scene, a gentleman and lady with their hounds riding in a rocky landscape pursuing a stag, the gold frame, sides and base of matted gold and cast with scrolling foliage, slightly raised thumbpiece
