An English brass miniature lantern clock, mid 17th century and later
Of typical form, with wrigglework decorated frets to the bell stand (replaced bell and straps), 1/2in. wide chapter ring, further wrigglework decoration to the dial plate, single steel hand, with brass doors to the sides and iron plate to the rear, later hoop and spurs for wall securing, the twin train movement with later anchor escapement and countwheel strike
