A large Sevres-patterned ormolu-mounted urn vase and cover
Circa 1880, pseudo-marked with interlaced L's including O
Thickly applied with gilt and painted in colours in the rococo revival style, with a frontal cartouche depicting a gallant aristocratic couple in 18th century attire, the back with a dreamy landscape, further decorated allover with natural flowersprays, with mounted drapery handles in the neoclassical style, on pedestal base, on mounted quadrupod plinth, the domed cover en suite with mounted bunch of grapes finial
