A Dutch Delft model of a corncob and a stand
18th century
(Maïskolf) painted in colours and naturalistically modelled the oblong body in strong yellow with apparent kernels of maize, applied with green leaves, the stand shaped as a green leaf with blue nervature (glaze frittings to the corncob)
