One side with two ithyphallic satyrs dancing with two maenads, the maenad to the left playing krotala (clappers), wearing an animal skin over a short, patterned chiton, the maenad to the right wearing a himation over her patterned chiton; the other side with four dancing maenads, the first and the third playing krotala; details in added white and red, the panels framed by ivy on either side, alternating black and red tongues above, with rays above the foot, one side with ivy on the rim, the other with a key pattern, with goats and panthers on the upper surface of the rim, and palmettes on the handle plates
