A GREEK BRONZE FIGURE OF A DIOSKOUROS
Circa 3rd-2nd Century B.C.
Depicted nude, standing with his weight on his right leg, the left relaxed and bent at the knee, his right arm up-raised (and bent slightly back), perhaps originally holding a spear, the left arm bent at the elbow, wearing a pilos helmet, the peak with a perforation perhaps for attachment of an attribute (a star), with long wavy strands of hair extending below the helmet rim framing the face
