A KASSITE LIGHT GREEN AND WHITE QUARTZ CYLINDER SEAL
Reign of Adad-shuma-iddina, 1222-1217 B.C.
With a tall figure on the right wearing a close-fitting hat with a tassel and a long robe with bottom fringe, standing with one hand raised, holding a bucket in the other, in front of him a vulture on the wing in the sky, and below a number of animals including a springing horse facing a rearing horned animal, and, each on base-lines, a goat walking to the right, a quadruped suckling its young, and a cow suckling its young, and below, two stylized plants, with a long inscription in Babylonian cuneiform, two columns of six lines each, an extra line at the end straddling both columns, and a final line added in front of the standing figure, reading "Kidin-Ninurta, administrator for Enlil and Ninlil, chief cup-bearer for Enlil, chief exorcist of (the temple) Ekurra, exalted exorcist of Adad-shuma-iddina, king of the world, anointed one, butler, the ....., and the ....., son of Ilum-bun[aya], descendant (?) of Amel-....., exalted exorcist of Enlil, the man of .....", with line borders above and below
