A GEORGE III MAHOGANY, SATINWOOD AND TULIPWOOD CROSSBANDED SECRETAIRE BOOKCASE
Inlaid with lines, the upper part with a moulded cornice satinwood frieze fitted with adjustable shelves enclosed by a pair of ogee and arched tulipwood crossbanded astragal glazed doors, the lower part with a fall inlaid with oval crossbanded satinwood veneered panels enclosing a fitted interior with central cupboard fitted with a drawer and pigeon holes enclosed by a quarter veneered panelled door with mahogany oval panel between pigeon holes and five drawers to either side with baize lined writing surface, the cupboard below fitted with three trays enclosed by a pair of panelled doors with shaped apron on outswept bracket feet (defective)
