Includes the map of "Central America II," 1842, depicting Texas as an independent republic; also the town plans of Boston, New York and Philadelphia. Mounted on a guard near the back of the atlas is a 4-page broadsheet, "Lands for Sale in the Eastern Townships of Lower Canada by the British American Land Company," January 1836. At the head of the first page is a map of the area, south of the St. Lawrence between Quebec and Montreal.
