Richard Brinsley SHERIDAN. Autograph letter signed to Lady Caroline Lamb, n.d., replying to a letter, 'Nothing upon my soul my dear Lady Caroline has gratified me so much', one page, 8vo; document signed, an indenture assigning a property in Pall Mall Fields (1794), on vellum, 7 membranes, signatures and seals on folded back foot; autograph verse, 'Dr Prettyman's revenge against slander' (6 lines); Daniel O'CONNELL. Autograph letter signed to The Pilot, enclosing a letter on Irish affairs to the Times for publication (1836), together 11 pages, 4to (discoloured and torn); Robert SOUTHEY. Autograph letter signed to the Revd Thomas Jackson, referring to his life of Goodwin, and to his own works on Wesley and Cromwell (1½ pages, 4to, address leaf); Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of WELLINGTON.
