A large famille rose Mandarin pattern tankard
Qianlong (1736-95)
with moulded dragon handle and flaring foot, painted and gilt with a shaped panel of a family at leisure in the riverside garden of a pavilion, a lady standing at the window holding a vase of flowers, smaller panels of birds in a rocky garden, flower sprays and landscapes on an iron red petal pattern ground, (handle restuck and restored to ends).
