A pair of famille verte dishes
Kangxi (1662-1722)
painted and gilt with a phoenix in flight above peony sprays and foliage within border panels of fish and crayfish on demi floret and geometric pattern grounds -- 9¼in. (23.5cms) diam, (one with rim chip, some enamel rubbing); and a further pair of famille verte dishes with shaped rims, decorated with vases of flowers amongst precious objects -- 10¼in. (26cms) diam, (some minor rim nibbles).
