All iron and 19th century unless otherwise stated: Round, stylised lightning in gilt low relief, the plate incised with rain, signed Ichiryu Tomoyoshi with a kao [cursive monogram], 3 1/8in. (8cm.); oval, a goose in iroe takazogan [soft-metal relief inlay], signed, 3 1/8in. (8cm.); mokkogata [square with indented corners], tsuchimeji [hammered ground], pierced with a gourd and inlaid with pine needles in copper and brass, signed Sadahiro, 17th century, 2 9/16in. (6.5cm.); oval, carved overall in low relief with paulownia flowers and leaves, gilt details, Suruga school, 3 1/8in. (8cm.); round, chiselled and pierced overall with the 'Hundred Monkeys' design, Hizen work, 2¾in. (7cm.); round, a mon [crest] in kage-sukashi (negative piercing), swordsmith's work, 16/17th century, 2¾in. (7cm.); round, a stylised crane above waves, the wings forming the rim, 2 11/16in.
