TWO SMALL AND FINE WOOD NETSUKE
Late Edo/Showa Period (19th Century)
A small wood netsuke finely carved of dried gourds, cords and tassels, signed on the reverse of the largest gourd Gyokuso to [carved by Gyokuso]; and another of a karako, the holes of the himotoshi on the lower back, signed underneath the left sole forming an oval reserve Masanao
1 3/8in. (4.5cm.) long and 1½in. (3.7cm.) high respectively (2)
