Crossbanded overall and banded in green-stained fruitwood, the rounded moulded rectangluar rouge Languedoc marble top above a shaped frieze drawer inlaid with floral trails in simulated panels, the higned fall-front inlaid with a musical trophy, resting on a bracket and surmounted by drapery, enclosing a plain interior with five open compartments and six variously-sized drawers, above a gilt-tooled brown leather writing-surface, above a pair of doors each inlaid with a neo-classical vase, enclosing a plain interior with a shelf, the sides inlaid with flower-sprays in simulated panels, on short cabriole legs, stamped 'F. Rübestuck' and 'JME'
