A French ormolu-mounted rouge griotte lyre clock
First half 19th Century
The circular white-enamelled Roman dial signed Le Roy a Paris with engraved centre, within a drum case in the shape of a lyre, the movement with silk-suspended pendulum and outside countwheel strike on a bell, numbered I927 and inscribed C, above a convex base centred by a cherub mount, on a rectangular plinth base
