The dial signed Basselet/a Metz in the centre of the white-enamelled dial with individual Roman and Arabic cartouches, the movement with twin going barrels and four back-pinned pillars, verge escapement and outside countwheel strike on a bell above, the case of waisted form with tortoiseshell ground, applied with foliate ormolu mounts, with a conforming wall bracket en suite, restorations
