The case with a foliate cast handle to the bell shaped top and foliate mounts to the angles, pierced foliate soundfrets to the front and sides and on bracket feet, the arched dial with pierced crown spandrels, signed Abraham Blanchard London on a circular plaque above strike/silent and the matted centre with a date aperture and a mock pendulum, the silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic chapters, pierced steel hands, the five pillar movement with a verge escapement and strike on a bell, pull repeat and six chimes
