The cannelee case mounted with painted enamel side panels depicting couples in rustic landscapes, the dial similarly painted with a group of children and with a church steeple in the background below a Roman chapter ring with retail signature to the centre EDWARD BRIGHT PARIS, with blued steel spade hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on bell to the backplate with punched stamp A.D. in an oval; case re-gilt
