The case with stepped breakarch top, trunk door with arched glazed panel and with pilasters to the sides with scroll mouldings to top and bottom, the waisted terminal flanked by brass screws for wall securing, with foliate cast gilt-brass bezel to the two piece white enamel dial with Roman chapter ring, with fine pierced blued steel hands, the three train movement with deadbeat escapement and quarter strike on two gongs, with calibration to the ebonised wood rod pendulum, swinging against an enamel beatscale on the backboard
