A Dutch Delft polychrome lobed oval chinoiserie plaque
Circa 1740
Painted with an Oriental woman holding a vase and standing beside a vase of flowers on a pedestal and before flowering shrubs issuing from pierced rockwork with a bird perched in its branches and another in flight above, within a yellow and iron-red flowerhead and cracked-ice border, pierced at the top for hanging (small crack at 6 o'clock, some minor rim chips and flaking)
