A pair of Dutch Delft blue and white oviform tobacco-jars and brass covers
Late 18th Century, three blue arrow mark for the Three Bells Factory, incised VI
Painted with sheafs of tobacco suspended from ribbon-tied laurels above a shield named for VIOLETTE and St. OMER and flanked by pillars with spherical finials and scantily clad natives smoking pipes, the contemporary waisted moulded brass covers with urn-shaped finials (flaking and slight chipping to upper rims, very slight flaking to footrims, footrim chip to one at back)
