A Meissen two-handled ecuelle, cover and a stand
Circa 1745, blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummer 21 to ecuelle and stand
The écuelle with green entwined branch handles with flower and foliage terminals, painted with scattered insects and each side with a finch perched on a branch within a moulded quatrefoil cartouche, the domed cover similarly decorated about a carnation finial, the well of the stand with three birds perched on small trees surrounded by scattered insects within a shaped gilt line rim (écuelle with crack from rim with small associated loss, minute chipping to finial)
