The first with etched fullered blade marked 'RNAV', regulation gilt-brass guard with a cartouche containing a crowned fouled anchor and the letters 'RNAV' (gilding partly worn), wire-bound shagreen-covered grip (painted cream), and lion's head pommel, in its copper-mounted leather scabbard (some dents); the second with etched curved fullered blade (pitted, minor nicks to edge), regulation steel stirrup hilt, and wire-bound shagreen-covered grip; the third with etched narrow slightly curved fullered blade by Wilkinson, nickel-plated hilt of British 1822 Infantry Pattern, wire-bound shagreen-covered grip (incomplete), and elephant's head pommel, in its nickel-plated scabbard
