A Polish Or Hungarian Hetman's Mace
17th Century
Of steel, the globular head made in two halves and divided into segments by six keel-shaped flanges set between narrow brass strips, spherical brass finial, and moulded brass collar linking it to the haft (slight rust pitting), the latter of circular section with a faceted handle separated by a brass moulding and with a small bun-shaped brass pommel
