With two-stage barrels with fluted octagonal breech sections each stamped 'Lazarino Cominazzo' on the top flat, rounded locks each signed in elaborate script and chiselled in relief with foliated scrollwork (cocks replaced), figured walnut full stocks (partly replaced) inlaid with shaped steel panels decorated in relief in the Brescian manner with winged monsters and foliated scrollwork bearing berries, all on a punched ground, steel mounts en suite, pierced triggers, and later iron-tipped ramrods
