A sterling silver openface deck watch with up and down indicator signed on the face Hamilton, with nickel-finished lever movement, 21 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, the silvered dial with Arabic numerals, blue steel spade hands, arc-shaped up and down indicator with power reserve to 56 hours, subsidary seconds, in a plain circular case, in a double hinged sterling silver case which is engraved on the back with USSB 322, and on the interior back the case is inscribed: C.W.C.CO./Trade mark/Sterling/64874. The case, dial and movement are signed. In a double hinged mahogany box. On the cover of the top lid is marked with: U.S.S.B./Ship Watch No.322/Keep this ship watch/invariably horizontal/with dial up. The interior of the box cover is lined with a plush blue line stamped Hamilton. The double hinged box fits within a lined and padded carrying box.
