numbered 940 on the flat-topped winding lever, playing two overtures (Nabuchodonozor and Il Trovatore) in two revolutions each, and a Strauss waltz in one revolution, with hand-written BB&C tune-sheet and grained case with stringing and inlaid harewood cartouche to lid -- 16 3/8in. (41.5cm.) wide, the cylinder 9 x 2 1/8in. (23 x 5cm.) diam., circa 1860
