Finely cast, seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base and wearing robes with brocade borders with the hems falling around the legs in rhythmic pleats and folds, with a Chinese-styled head-dress wearing a cowl over the top-knot above a small seated figure of Amitabha in dhyanasana, the right hand raised in vitarkamudra, the left in the lap, the palm upwards bearing a cup--16 1/8in. (41cm.) high
