A FINE PAIR OF WUCAI 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' BOWLS
ENCIRCLED KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD

Finely painted to the exteriors of each with two dragons chasing flaming pearls, one in iron-red, the other in green, among floral sprays and fire scrolls, divided by two descending phoenix, with a narrow band of the Eight Buddhist Emblems interspersed with ruyi-heads below the slightly-everted rim--5 1/8in. (13.2cm.) diam. (2)
