A FINE FAMILLE VERTE BOWL
ENCIRCLED CHENGHUA SIX-CHARACTER MARK, KANGXI

The shallow, rounded sides finely enamelled on the exterior with a procession of Daoist Fairies, one riding in a cart drawn by a mythical beast, followed by other fairies and a deer in a landscape interspersed with rocks and clumps of lingzhi fungus, with the wufu painted in iron-red in flight above, the foot encircled by a narrow band of iron-red scrolls, all within underglaze-blue double-line borders--5 5/8in. (14.3cm.) diam.
