INCISED QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE SQUARE AND OF THE PERIOD

The compressed sides finely enamelled in delicate tones with three oval panels enclosing seasonal flowers, peonies springing up from behind rockwork, roses together with smaller flowers and chrysanthemum with autumnal leaves, each panel framed by a stylized bat, alternating with small roundels containing a sinous dragon, reserved on a composite floral ground including day lillies and lotus, the trumpet neck above two borders of classic scroll and a band of stylized plantain leaves below bats in flight amid leafy scrolls repeated on the flared foot, all reserved on a lemon yellow ground, the interior turquoise, the nianhao incised on the base (scratches, chips, old restoration)--5 in.
