Of oval section decorated in iro-e takamaki-e, hiramaki-e, togidashi, kirigane and nashiji with two rakan, one with a white tiger companion, a red tengu on the opposite side, the beaked creature descending on a bank of billowing clouds and holding a miniature pagoda, interior cases nashiji; fitted with a wooden bead ojime and a lacquered wood netsuke carved as a mokugyo drum--3 7/8in. (9.7cm.) high
