Of lozenge shape lacquered in gold takamaki-e, hiramaki-e, togidashi, nashiji and elaborately inlaid in mother-of-pearl, aogai, colored ivory, coral and horn, with a woman holding a bow and quiver pointing towards two signs, one reading inochi (life), and the other ukiyo (floating world), the reverse with Seiobo and another immortal beneath a peach tree, signed within two inlaid silver reserves, interior cases nashiji; fitted with a silver bead ojime cast with paulownia crests and a red and black lacquer manju netsuke carved with a bat and rui fungus--4¼in. (10.7cm.) high
